I purchased both books about 20 years ago at auction. The Anpanman Santa Claus book has a cover, which I removed and stored separately. There is some aging. I've read them a few times. There are no tears or scribbles, but there is some discoloration of the paper due to aging. I've included some photos of the damage to the corners, etc. I think you can still enjoy them. They are perfect picture books for the Christmas season.
