After trying Fukabeit, I understood the principle of its action and found the landing sound to be too loud, so I made a small Fukabeit with a frog body. The body is made of Sieg's GK Frosh, which can be cast with medium-light tackle and has a quieter landing sound. Length: Approx. 65mm Weight: Approx. 20g The usage is the same as the original Fukabeit: the trick is to retrieve it super slowly so that the blade swings like a pendulum without rotating. The body will perform a "fukafuka" (wobbling) action due to the inertial force of the blade's pendulum motion. During test casts, there were no bass bites, but a turtle aggressively chased it, so I believe it has appeal to predators.
