This certainly looks like a Tree of Life design. I'm not sure what the material is, but it didn't stick to a magnet. There are no markings. It felt heavy for its size. The lid and body close tightly with magnets. It looks clean at first glance, but there's some slight clouding on the inside and bottom. I think it would also be good for holding incense that doesn't require fire.
