It is believed to have been used for futon covers, etc. This indigo dye was collected in Kaga. Touching it, one feels the gentle texture of hand-spun yarn, and it has a well-worn feel. There are considerable patches, tears, frays, damage, and stains, but the clear indigo color makes it a refreshing piece. The sides are half-width, making it five widths wide.
