I've never taken a selfie with my iPhone. It's been stored in a drawer. It's new and unused, but please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about details. The lens itself feels heavy. If you are taking photos, I think it's best to take selfies indoors or in a fixed position. The white light is a beauty light. Currently, it lights up in three stages without any problems.
