These are Miyajima Hariko hina dolls from Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, known for Itsukushima (Miyajima), a World Heritage site. These are handmade one by one by Shiro Tanaka of the "Miyajima Folk Craft Studio." Mr. Tanaka, originally known for his bird-themed works, creates pieces that are all charming and seem to speak to you~♪ The coloring is beautiful and colorful, as if they jumped right out of a picture book. [Manufacturing Process] Original mold → Molding → Paper application → Kobun/glue coating → Painting Each piece is handmade, so there are slight individual differences of a few millimeters. The fan of the Hina doll depicts the Great Torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine.
