Shires 1Y Hand-Engraved Bell for Bass Trombone This is a 1Y yellow brass bell from the early days of hand-engraved Shires bells. As it's from the early period, it only has the 1Y stamp. It is compatible with current models. Weight is 525 grams. The bell is old and has some scratches and repaired dents. The lacquer on the receiver side is discolored. I usually use a Bach bell, and I have acquired several bells, so I'm selling this one. If you are looking for a bell from this era, or for a bell cut, this is a rare opportunity as they are not often available used.
