This is an old obi for Shichi-Go-San. While there is some damage, it may not be noticeable or can be hidden when tied. Also, the condition of the obi is unlikely to be closely examined by others. For those who want to make a statement with a gorgeous, eye-catching design with patterns on both sides. A gold-toned obi will look very glamorous when paired with a kimono, making it a convenient piece to have. Also, butterfly-patterned obi are not very common, so it might be rare. (^^) It's lovely.
