Used set of 4 Thomastik contrabass strings (Belcanto) (G, D, A, E strings: manufacturer part numbers BC61-64). The G string will be packaged in its original bag for shipping (bags for the other strings have been discarded). Condition and usage history are as follows: * Used for arco mainly, for about 1 year each on a 3/4 contrabass (played 1-2 times a week) and a 3/4 upright bass (played several times a week), totaling about 2 years. * There are bends at the points of contact with the bridge and nut (see photos 3 and 4). * There are winding marks on the parts that wrap around the pegs. * There is a slight gap in the winding of the D string at the point of contact with the bridge and nut (likely due to string stretching). * There is no fraying of the windings, including on the D string. * Cleaning was done with a dry cloth; no chemicals such as alcohol were used. * As this is a used item, there may be some dirt that could not be removed by wiping with a cloth (e.g., the black stain on the E string in photo 4). * I believe there are no stains that would cause problems during playing (e.g., catching on fingers), but please understand that this is a subjective assessment.
