I made a long skirt by connecting brown dyed fabrics. Each color is persimmon tannin dyed with different mordants (color fixatives). It has a gentle earth-tone gradation. There are two pockets on both sides. I wrote a poem from the Ogura Hyakunin Isshu (One Hundred Poets, One Poem Each) in one place. I sewed many pieces of fabric together and also added a lining, so it feels a bit heavy, but it's a one-of-a-kind skirt. Enjoy!
