This is a Nagoya obi with a beautiful green color and a gorgeous peony flower design. The green appears very dark in the photos. It's a young bamboo green color. I couldn't quite capture the color accurately. It was an unused item with the basting threads still attached. I will remove the basting threads for the photos. They will not be attached when I send it to you. I don't think it's very noticeable, but there appears to be some slight fading on the long exposed part of the otaiko (the part that forms the back of the obi). See photo 8. There is a stain about 20cm from the tip of the tare (the hanging part), which will likely be hidden when worn. See photo 9. The material is unknown. I believe it is silk.
