Thank you for viewing. This is a ready-tied obi (belt). It has a woven texture like tsumugi (pongee silk), with a checkered pattern. It's a two-piece style, consisting of the part that wraps around the waist and the pre-made bunko musubi (bow) section (Photo 1). The finished bunko musubi has a wire (covered in vinyl) attached (Photo 2). The part of the obi that wraps around the waist has a string attached, which is tied to secure the obi. The wire attached to the bunko musubi is then inserted into the obi. This is convenient because even those who can't tie an obi can easily put it on. It's also comfortable for those who are not used to wearing kimono. The size is suitable for upper elementary school students to high school students.
