These are geta (Japanese sandals) with leather soles, likely made by Yamato Kobo in Nara. The uppers show some signs of wear, but the soles are scuffed as shown in the photos. I can't completely decipher it, but it probably says Yamato Kobo. I received these as a gift, so I can't confirm.
