It is a new, unused item. It did not come with a box when I purchased it. There is a small indentation to the left of the Coach logo in the third photo, but it's not a scratch; it was there when I bought it. It can hold 8 cards, has a zippered coin purse, and a pocket on the back side (as shown in the second photo).
