It has been tested and is currently working accurately. The metal piece from which the pendulum hangs has some slight rust (Photo 7), but it is not visible from the outside and does not affect its operation. The hourly chime is supposed to ring once at the half-hour mark and then the corresponding number of times on the hour, but immediately after inserting batteries, it rang 12 times, and later rang one less than the hour, indicating it has not been adjusted. The chime can be turned off (see switch in Photos 12 & 13), so it can be fully used as a clock. It has been stored at home for a long time, but the exterior is clean and would make a nice interior decoration.
