This is an old item that has been stored in a Japanese tansu for a long time. I am selling it because I have no use for it. The size is 37cm x 37cm. The front has a pattern and the back is white. I believe it is a fukusa (silk cloth) for envelopes, rather than for the tea ceremony. The pattern is Enmon Byakko Suzaku Nishiki (Circle Pattern, White Tiger, Vermilion Sparrow Brocade).
