Size: Approximately 11.5cm x 5.5cm With a color like green tea, the strong iron content in the glaze creates spots of blue, black, and brown on the surface. Each piece has its own unique character, and no two have the same pattern (design). These rice bowls have a calm and refined appearance. The surrounding design features a textured design of tokusa (horsetail grass). The appearance of the tokusa stripes varies from piece to piece depending on the thickness of the glaze. These are popular rice bowls. They are made in Japan and sold directly from the kiln.
