It is made with a home sewing machine, a serger for finishing edges, and Velcro for fastening. The obi has a bell attached. The floral motifs are sewn on. The hair accessory is a ribbon, but it is a clip-on type, not elastic. Due to its structure, it cannot be sewn on, so it is threaded through the center fabric of the ribbon.
