It can be stored in a size similar to a 1L Nalgene bottle and weighs less than a 500ml PET bottle. This winter down mat features a comfortable 9cm loft with 132g of down. It compensates for the loft of the sleeping bag bottom, which can be crushed by body weight. It offers a good balance of R-value, weight, and price, making it a recommended winter mat. Down mats require inflation with a pump to prevent the down from getting damp with your breath. A lightweight pump sack (60g) made of silnylon is included, allowing you to inflate the mat in 2-3 pumps. The pump sack has a tab, and stepping on it stabilizes the sack, making it easier to inflate. The pump sack is waterproof (as it doesn't leak air), so it can be used as a dry sack for your sleeping bag or as a pack liner, eliminating extra luggage. When deflating for storage, insert the tab of the valve cap into the green check valve. This is the item in the photo. I inflated it at home and there were no air leaks, but it is a used item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor imperfections.
