This is a Kobukusa (old fukusa). Please use it when serving matcha or as a mat. [Fabric] Genuine silk. It's a lovely peach color, perfect for the Doll's Festival (Hinamatsuri) and other occasions. The woven flowing water pattern unique to Komarinzu is beautiful and elegant. There is a small woven bamboo leaf pattern in one place. As it is a Kobukusa, I have stiffened it with a core for a crisp finish. [Size] The traditional size of Kobukusa used in the Urasenke school of tea ceremony. Some people also use it in Kodo (incense ceremony). Finished size: Made with a pattern of 5 sun (15.2cm) x 5 sun 3 bu (16.3cm), but please allow for slight variations. [Sewing Method] Three sides are sewn, and the short side of 5 sun is a "wa" (fold). There are no knotting beads. ❤️ Since it is new, there is no crease in the center. When folding in half, place the "wa" on the right side, choose your favorite side as the front, and fold it in half.
