This is the second-generation (2023) model of the Callaway APEX UW Utility Wood. Purchased in September 2024. Although this product is categorized as a utility, it has a wood shaft installed, so I had it custom-made by the manufacturer with a Mitsubishi Diamana GT60 (flex S). *The custom shaft cost an additional 19,800 yen on top of the regular product price. As you can see from the images, the sole has some minor scratches, but it's in very clean condition. I think it would be equivalent to an A-rank in a used shop. The grip is a Golf Pride "Tour Velvet PLUS4 Plus 4 Standard M60, no backline," which was installed at a workshop with two layers of underwrap. I personally prefer a non-tapered grip and a thicker feel to prevent the ball from going left, so those who prefer a thinner grip may want to replace it. By the way, the grip itself is in clean condition and can still be used for a long time. Also, the included original headcover is new and unopened, so I think it's a good deal. The feel of the ball striking is very pleasant, and combined with the moderate repulsion, it's a utility wood that's easy to control.
