This item has been stored at home for a long time. This is a "Longevity Fan" received as a congratulatory gift for Respect for the Aged Day from the Governor of Aichi Prefecture in September 1984. It has been stored without being used. There is a print of the year and the governor's name on the back. The longevity fans are painted by artists associated with Aichi Prefecture every year, but the author is unknown because there is no bookmark. There are no noticeable damages, but there are some slight stains on the back of the fan due to aging. There are minor corner scuff marks. See images 10 and 11. The box has some light soiling.
