I found this while cleaning out my parents' house. It's a cute, chic light. The cord is still bundled up, so I don't think it's been used much, but there are some scratches and stains on the gold part of the lampshade due to aging. Touching the gold base turns on the main light. The second touch turns on the sub-light, and the third touch turns it off.
