Basically, all display backlight failures for the 2016-2017 A1708 and A1706 models can be repaired. Repairs are possible in the following cases: ① The LCD is visible only when opened to 45 degrees or less. ② The LCD does not display even when opened to 45 degrees or less, but the screen is faintly visible when illuminated with a flash. In 70% of these failures, the backlight cable is about to break. In 30% of the cases, the logic board itself is faulty. Both can be repaired. If the backlight cable is about to break, it will be repaired with the cable in the photo. If the logic board is faulty, the backlight chip on the logic board will be replaced. The repaired backlight cable is longer than the original, so backlight failures will not recur, but it is guaranteed for only one month. After winning the bid, please pay the repair fee and then ship the Macbook body to us at your expense. There is no need to send accessories such as the AC adapter.
