I took the main unit outside once, but I used it while it was in the pouch. I think it's in a clean condition with no stains. I removed the tag at that time, but I still have it. The lid of the outer box was torn when I opened it, so I reinforced it with tape (see image 3). Please purchase only if you understand the above.
