They were discovered during the cleaning of my parents' house, inside a "chabako" (tea chest) to prevent moisture and insect damage. The colors of the time remain vivid, almost unbelievable for something from about 73 years ago. There are some scratches and minor damage due to aging, but there is little paper deterioration, and it is very rare for paper products from this era to remain in such good condition.
