This is a coat from The 2 Monkeys. The size is XL, and the color is dark navy. Upon close inspection, there is some slight pilling on the back, and some areas appear to change color depending on the angle (see images). Overall, it's in good condition with little wear and tear. In 'America', a country created by immigrants from Europe, various cultures and customs were brought in from all over Europe by the immigrants. Around 1880-1920, when popular theater and vaudeville were all the rage, there must have been many immigrants who were tailors in New York. Among them, some may have tailored clothes that were uniquely arranged from their countries of origin. At the time, atelier coats (shop coats) were mainly made of linen in France. They were worn when doing light work indoors, but perhaps a tailor from France made them out of wool as winter overcoats. Based on that kind of imagination, this wool coat, which is in an atelier coat style and draws a gentle A-line, was designed.
