The Yamaha Lab Symphony is said to be the masterpiece of Yamaha horns. It is also famous for being used by Seifert, the former principal horn of the Berlin Philharmonic, during his active years. This is a one-piece, no-lacquer model. There are almost no dents (there is a slight shallow dent on the top of the bell in the 7th photo), and the condition is impeccable. The intonation is excellent, as expected from Yamaha. This model was made with professionals in mind, and the density of the tone, which is achieved by the moderate resistance in addition to Yamaha's lightness, provides an exquisite playing experience. The original hard case is included. It is also in good condition. Other items such as mouthpieces and small accessories are not included. I mainly used this 85V for small ensemble chamber music, but I haven't used it much, which is a waste. I hate to part with it, but I believe that instruments are meant to be played, so I would like to pass it on to someone who will make good use of it. Lab Symphonies of this level are rarely available, so how about it if you are looking for one? The price is set considering the performance, rarity, and condition of the product, so please refrain from unreasonable price negotiations. Direct handover and trial playing are welcome in the northern part of Osaka.
