It's a floor stand created in collaboration with Panasonic (then National) and is now discontinued. This particular one is from 2008. It was designed with the idiom "like bamboo shoots after the rain" in mind, but it feels more like the Moomins' "Hattifatteners." It's a simple, understated lighting fixture, yet it avoids being bland, possessing a unique charm characteristic of Koizumi's work. It pairs perfectly with minimalistic furniture, as shown in photos 4 and 5. The fabric used in place of a shade is thick and stretchy. It doesn't allow too much light to pass through, preventing glare. Photos 1 and 2 show the shade twisted slightly at each section to create pleats. Photos 3 and onward show it in a straight state. "U-go" rarely appears on the used market despite being released by a major manufacturer. The shade has been cleaned. There are minor stains, but they were difficult to capture in the photos (photo 12). The shade and the main body will be packed separately. The shade will be folded, but it's made of a material that doesn't wrinkle easily, so it shouldn't be a concern if you unpack it immediately. If wrinkles do occur, they can be restored by wetting and drying. Finally, please understand that this is a used item and has been stored at home before purchasing.
