■About the Product This is a 5-piece set of overlay rulers used by the Japan Self-Defense Forces. These are not official issue items but were purchased from the PX (post exchange) as personal property. Since a complete set is included, it is ideal for those who will use them only during their training period or wish to have them as spares. ■Set Contents and Condition [Please be sure to check.] The items show signs of use overall, with ink stains from a Staedtler pen, softening due to age, and repaired cracks. Details regarding usability are as follows: ● Self-Positioning Disk Shows signs of use but is fully functional. ● L-Rulers (2 pieces) HM Coordinate Ruler (1/12,500, 1/10,000) Improved Coordinate Ruler (1/25,000, 1/50,000) *There are marks from sanding to remove names. Also, there is a slight warp on the right edge. ● Unit Symbol L-Shaped Ruler The unit symbols are of the older type. Two cracks have been repaired. ● Protractor Some of the markings are faded. A hole has been drilled in the center. (The protractor was used to explain the difference between mils and degrees to new recruits and students on work experience.) ■Other These are recommended for those who intend to use them mainly "only during their training period" or "as spares in case of loss," rather than for primary use.
