This is an adapter for using Contax lenses (Yashica-Contax mount) on Canon EOS bodies (EF mount). Contax lenses are only available used now, but the color rendition of Zeiss lenses is still attractive. They can be used on both EOS digital and film cameras. I think this is a rare adapter nowadays.
