Banko-yaki is a traditional craft of Mie Prefecture, and these are small pots made entirely by hand. They can be used directly over a flame, in the oven, and in the microwave. Please use them as tableware after cooking. They are suitable for making small portions of baby food, as well as for cooking gratins, quiches, and ajillo. Diameter: approximately 10cm, Depth: approximately 4.5cm I purchased these at a pottery fair and have used them several times. I used them directly over a flame, so the bottom of the pots are scorched. Other than that, I believe there are no noticeable scratches or stains, but please understand that these are used items before purchasing. I paid over 8000 yen for the two, so I think this is quite a bargain. Thank you.
