Brand new. I soaked it in tea and carved it until it produced sound. This reed, when I blow it, can hold a tone for about 16 seconds in Hirajoshi mode. I'm using reeds from Udo, dried in the shade for over 10 years. A cap is also included. Before you rate the item, please try playing a song. You can tear the diagram to fit the size of the pipe.
