From the Movie Monster Series (Old) comes "Godzilla." No paper tag. Approximately 16cm tall. I previously purchased this at an auction and displayed it in a case in a dark place. There were already some paint chips and minor scratches at the time of purchase. There may be other scratches that I have overlooked. This is a soft vinyl figure with the same sculpt as the "Godzilla" that was released in 1998 as part of the Godzilla Island Kaiju Series and Toho Kaiju Series, which were the predecessors to the current Movie Monster Series. However, when it was released as part of the Movie Monster Series (Old) in 2001, the color of the dorsal fins changed from blue to white, and the color of the claws changed from metallic to light yellow. The sculpt is a scaled-down version of the mold from the "Godzilla Series" (approximately 24cm) released since the 1992 release of "Godzilla vs. Mothra." In the current Movie Monster Series, Godzilla 1989 (Bio-Godzilla), Godzilla 1991 (Gidorah Godzilla), Godzilla 1994 (MogeGoji), and Burning Godzilla (DeathGoji) from the Heisei VS series have been newly sculpted. However, "Godzilla" 1992 (BatoGoji) and 1993 (RadoGoji) are not yet released. Since the original molds are over 30 years old, it is unlikely that this "Godzilla" sculpt will be re-released as is. Burning Godzilla was also originally a product over 20cm that was scaled down and incorporated into the Movie Monster Series, but now a ver. 2.0 has been newly sculpted, so the previous mold is believed to be discontinued. This "Godzilla" feels old in the eye paint and tooth sculpt, but the overall form is not bad, and personally, I don't think it looks significantly inferior even when displayed alongside the VS series Godzilla from the current Movie Monster Series. Recently, unused items with tags have become expensive, and this old Movie Monster Series version with white dorsal fins is becoming less common even in used condition, so how about it as a collector's item? There is no particular damage after purchase, but it is a used item purchased at auction, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect product or are sensitive to the condition. I do not smoke. I do not have pets. Shipping will be done by wrapping it in waterproof material and bubble wrap, and then placing it in a paper bag. The tail may be removed.
