This is a sandalwood fan that belonged to my grandmother, found at her home. Each individual piece has beautiful decorations with holes. When fanned, a faint sandalwood fragrance wafts through the air. (Wiping the surface clean with a wrung-out cloth to remove dust is said to restore the original scent.) I don't know when it was purchased. It comes with a wooden box, but it's partially damaged. (I will send it along if needed.) Thank you for your consideration.
