Domus lamps feature various forms due to the combination of high-quality wood and the unique "Lunopa" lampshade. This particular lamp is very old, with overseas websites dating it to the 1960s-70s. It has a beautiful presence not found in current products handled by Yamagiwa. The main features are the arch created by the wood and the taut tension of the two black lines. These lines are the cables that extend to the light source, which are ingeniously incorporated into the design. Also, the base has a switch on one side and a knob for angle adjustment on the other, a typically German design that eliminates unnecessary elements. The angle can be adjusted up and down. It can also be slightly adjusted left and right, but when lifting it up, the metal fittings will rise, so please avoid lifting it by the base when handling.
