This is a paper knife created with the motif of a Warabiteto sword. After cutting and forming it from an iron angle, it has been polished with a whetstone, file, and polishing compound to achieve a mirror finish. The Warabiteto sword is an ancient sword said to have been primarily used by the Emishi people. It is said that the sword used by Ashitaka in Princess Mononoke was also based on the Warabiteto sword.
