They are from around the 1980s when American Airlines expanded its routes to Japan, and were ordered by Japan and made by manufacturers in Mino and Arita. It seems they were used on board flights and also distributed as novelties. Size: Diameter approx. 8cm, width including handle approx. 10.8cm, Height approx. 5.2cm. Coffee cup, tea cup, soup cup. Also, as a free cup for serving desserts such as pudding, mousse, ice cream, and fruit. They are also stylish as small item holders or tabletop accessories^_^. I love vintage tableware, which is less than antique, and I collected various items during my time in Tokyo. Among the domestic tableware for American Airlines, I have never seen this blue floral pattern anywhere else, so I think it's a rare item. It has a cool color scheme and a calm impression, but the small floral pattern is also placed on the inside (see photo), and it has a rather stylish design.
