My child used this a few times in elementary school. It hasn't been used much, so there are no chips on the blade, etc., but since it's a few years old, the sharpness may have slightly decreased. I can't confirm this myself, so I would appreciate it if you could judge from the photos. Also, there are slight traces of sticker residue (glue) where the name sticker was removed from the handle and case. There are no cracks in the case. The handle is also made of rubber.
