This is a checked muffler. There's no tag, so I'm not sure, but it's made of a very warm fabric, and I believe it's 100% wool. It's a subdued reddish-brown muffler. Regarding the color, I think the second photo is the closest to the actual color. I think it's a color that can be used by both men and women. It has been dry cleaned and stored, but please understand that it is a home-stored item before purchasing.
