This is a replica bust sculpture of the Egyptian Ankhkonsu. It is approximately 28cm tall and weighs about 4kg. There is some chipping (see images). The sculpted head of Ankhkonsu embodies the idealistic approach of late Egyptian sculpture. The face is youthful and serene. The name Ankhkonsu was given to this statue from the inscription after it was identified in 1979 as belonging to one of the headless block statues in the Cairo Egyptian Museum.
