The ankle strap keeps them securely on and prevents them from slipping off. The heel measures about 8 centimeters, but the front has a platform of just over 1 centimeter, so the difference in height is mitigated. I've worn them a few times. I'm pregnant and only wear sneakers now, so I'm selling them. I plan to send them without the box.
