Men's heko obi (soft sash). It's wide, so you can tie it loosely for a voluminous look. The material appears to be silk (judging by the smell and sheen when the thread is burned), but I'm not certain. It seems to have very fine shibori (tie-dyeing), but I don't know the details of the technique. • Width: Approximately 40cm • Length: Approximately 3m • Texture: Soft but firm.
