Wooden castanets. Purchased about 40 years ago. Purchased from my instructor at the time for 7,300 yen. The sound is good because they are made of wood. These castanets have a rare rounded shape with no sharp edges, unlike the forms sold today. I hope they catch the eye of someone knowledgeable about castanets. There are no noticeable scratches or dirt, but I have listed them as "slightly scratched or dirty" due to their age.
