I've owned it for about 2 years, and used it about once a month. There is no stickiness or hydrolysis inside. I think it's in good condition. The only issues are four indentations on the shoulder straps and some minor scuffs on the bottom. Please see the photos. This bag did not originally come with a rain cover.
