For sale is a practical OM-1 silver body with a 50mm F1.4 lens. All parts are functioning correctly. There is slight prism corrosion on the bottom left and right, which is common for OM single-digit models, but I've left it as is since it's original. * The hydrolyzed light seals have been removed and replaced with new ones. The viewfinder eyepiece is clear with no fogging, which is in good condition. (Note) Many old cameras, not just the OM-1, often have foggy eyepieces. The exposure meter works, but since 1.35V batteries are currently unavailable, it uses LR44 batteries. It seems to be about one stop over, so it should be usable. The shutter fires correctly from B to 1/1000. * This has not been measured mechanically. The shutter curtain speed appears to be opening fully up to 1/1000 as far as I can see. The shutter curtains also have no pinholes, which are common in older cameras. There are some scratches and minor dents. * Please check the photos. The attached lens is the latest 50mm F1.4 (with minor changes) without MC markings, a standard lens. There is some dust and debris, but it seems to be free of the fogging typical of old OM lenses. This is just my subjective opinion (^_^;) The aperture blades also have no stickiness or oil stains, and the focusing ring turns smoothly. * It's fine for practical use. There is only one minor issue: the mirror-up mechanism doesn't fully engage, but I think it's not normally used, so please be aware of this. * See photo 8. The light seals in the film chamber and for the mirror cushioning have been replaced. You can start shooting as soon as you load film. The camera has been cleaned as much as possible, but there may be some remaining dirt. The items for sale are the camera and lens shown in the photos, a genuine lens cap, and a hot shoe (for attaching an external flash). I have written a brief description above, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about minor details or are overly sensitive, as this is a used item.
