This is a Ritsubina (standing雛 dolls) lacquered Chū-Natsume tea caddy made by Sōtetsu Nakamura of the Senke Jisshoku (Ten Craftsmen of the Sen Family). The charming lacquer work is heartwarming. It bears the kao (signature) of the 15th Urasenke Grand Master, Hōunsai. There is a needle mark on the bottom.
