I purchased this at a Frederic merchandise sale. These are the Kanashii Ureshii socks (socks). These socks are inspired by "Kanashii Ureshii" (Sad Happy) and feature the asymmetrical characters for "Kanashii" (Sad) and "Ureshii" (Happy) on the left and right socks, respectively.
