This is an Oribe-yaki mizusashi (water container), without a lid. It can be used as a vase or a flower container as is, or you could repurpose another lid to fit. There is a mark on the bottom, but its reading is unknown. However, it is likely a kiln mark rather than a maker's mark. By the way, the blackish areas on the rim (where the lid would sit) (images 15-19) are likely due to the firing process or the clay's composition (these areas did not come off with cleaning). While not noticeable damage, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the aforementioned discoloration, are overly sensitive, or are a perfectionist.
