Danner Explorer Gore-Tex Purchased new around 1995. Shoelaces have been replaced with aftermarket ones. (Original laces were green, but the originals are lost) *No shoe box included Suede fabric is used on the side uppers, and the suede is green, as shown in the photos. This is a rare model with a black Danner tag on the inside of the ankle. I wore these during the first outdoor boom, but mainly in the city and only when camping, so they weren't subjected to hard use. However, there is some deterioration due to age. The product number and size specification tag, which were likely written or stamped on the tongue or inside, are unknown. The leather has some dullness and dirt due to aging, but there are no deep scratches. Regarding the size, I believe I purchased them as a 27cm equivalent. Currently, when I wear them with boot socks, my foot size is 26.5cm, and they feel tight, making all-day wear impossible. If I wear them with regular socks, they feel just right. Just for reference... The replaceable Vibram soles are as they were when purchased, but I think there is little wear and tear on the heels or overall. There are no detachments, removals, or damage to the lace-up hardware, but there is some soiling from bronze. The weight is about 750g per side.
